长假一到，不少人趁这几天出国。订机票、订酒店、临时要改行程，这些事在国外订票网站和航空公司客服那边都是英语。这一篇照订票的顺序走：网页上显示票没了、按下订之前看取消条款、改签、改签要付的钱、退款。

When a long holiday comes around, a lot of people head abroad. Booking flights and hotels on overseas sites, and changing a booking afterwards, both happen in English. This article follows the order you run into them: tickets gone, cancellation terms, rescheduling, what a change costs, and getting your money back.

单元一｜订票网页上显示票没了

在国外订票网站上，sold out 和 fully booked 都在讲东西没了。机票、演唱会票、景点门票卖完写 sold out；酒店某几天查不到房型可选，页面上写 fully booked。这两个字用在班次和房间上常常互换。

fully booked 另外还能讲人的行程排满，sold out 不行。跟国外同事约时间的时候，说 I’m fully booked next week 就是下周排满了。

单元二｜按下订之前先看取消条款

同一间酒店同一个房型，订房网站上常常并排两个价格。free cancellation 是可以在期限前免费取消、全额退款，期限多半是入住前 24 到 48 小时。

non-refundable 的价格通常便宜一成到两成，订的时候就扣款，之后取消不退款。

期限和违约金是每一家酒店自己订的，同一个城市的两间酒店可以完全不一样。要看的是房型下面那一行 cancellation policy。

用法辨析｜free cancellation 和 non-refundable

订房网站上并排的两种价格。
free cancellation ＝期限前取消全额退款，期限过了酒店可以收一晚或全额
non-refundable ＝订的时候就扣款，取消不退款，价格通常便宜一成到两成

单元三｜改签，先找预订编号

订完会收到一封确认邮件，里面有一组六个字母数字的代号。打客服电话或找在线客服的时候，对方要先问这一组才查得到你的订单。

这组代号各家的叫法不一样。英国的航空公司写 booking reference，美国的写 confirmation number 或 record locator，订票网站写 reservation code，指的都是同一组六个字。哪个字都可以讲。

想改日期，跟客服说 reschedule。reschedule、rebook、change my booking 这三种说法在客服对话里通用。差别只在谁改的：航空公司自己调整航班、把你移到别的班次，他们用 rebook 讲这件事。

跟客服这样说

My booking reference is HK4T2L.	我的预订编号是 HK4T2L。
I’d like to reschedule my flight to Friday.	我想把航班改签到星期五。
Can I change my booking to the 26th?	可以帮我改到 26 号吗？
I booked the wrong date.	我订错日期了。
Can you check what’s available that week?	可以帮我看那一周还有什么吗？

单元四｜改签要付的钱

change fee 是改签这个动作本身收的手续费，票种决定收多少，跟新票价无关。美国国内航线的经济舱从 2020 年起多数取消这笔费用，国际航线和廉价航空还是可能要收。

fare difference 是新班次票价比原本那张高的差价。原本那张比较贵的话，通常不退回差额。

这两笔分开算，可能只收一笔，也可能两笔都收。在线客服那边可以请他们分别报这两笔各是多少。

用法辨析｜change fee 和 fare difference

这是两笔分开的钱。
change fee ＝改签的手续费，票种决定收多少，跟新票价无关
fare difference ＝新票价减掉原票价的差价，原票比较贵通常不退回
同一次改签可能只收其中一笔，也可能两笔都收。

Is there a change fee?	要收改签手续费吗？
Do I have to pay the fare difference?	我需要补票价差价吗？
How much is it in total to move to Friday?	改到星期五总共要多少钱？

单元五｜退款

refund 是把钱退回原本刷的那张卡。信用卡账单上通常要等几个工作日才看得到。

有些航空公司退的是只能买他们家机票的旅行代金券。跟客服确认退回来的是哪一种。

跟客服这样说

Can I get a refund?	可以退款吗？
Will the refund go back to my credit card?	钱会退回我的信用卡吗？
Is it a refund or travel credit?	退的是现金还是旅行代金券？
How long does the refund take?	退款要多久？
I cancelled before the deadline.	我在期限前就取消了。
